MEX 2007
I have recently completed some MindMaps for MEX 2007 that are available as part of the full report of the conference proceedings and the speaker presentations package.
I found the session on the Retail User Experience the most interesting as this was the area in which I have least experience… (click on the image for a full size map)
Buying a phone is very confusing for a consumer. They are confronted with a mix of phone OEM, carrier and independent stores where invariably they can’t even try the phones. The mindmap covers issues related to sales staff, consumer concerns and shows ways they can be encouraged to spend more on a device and additional services.
Other topics covered during the MEX 2 day conference included…
-
Social Networking
-
Interfaces and the Contextual Environment
- Pricing
-
Content Discovery
-
Advertising
-
Operating Walled Gardens
-
Interacting with the Physical Environment
-
Measuring the User Experience
-
Personalisation
Please contact PMN for details on further mindmaps and the conference report.
Update: PMN now have a free sample of the conference report covering all notes and mindmap from the Retail User Experience session.
