Opportunity to Write LWUIT Book
Packt Publishing have contacted me asking if I would be interested in authoring a book on LWUIT. Unfortunately, I am too busy at the moment so there’s an opportunity available for someone.
Packt are looking for someone who preferably (but not compulsorily) has a knowledge of LWUIT.
"If the author knows Java ME (Java mobile edition) and is interested in learning about the LWUIT library, this would be OK. Author will need to know Java ME, regardless of whether they know about LWUIT. Previous writing experience is preferable but not compulsory."
The editorial team at Packt works with the author throughout the project and they offer a royalty of 15% and an advance against the royalty. The marketing team at Packt ensures that the book is well promoted to the market. Packt also donates a percentage of sales revenue from the book to the Open Source project on which it is based. They have so far donated more than $100,000.
