Bladox NFC
After posting about NFC at MoMo London, Bladox contacted me about their innovative new hardware that enables NFC on just about any type of mobile phone.
I wrote about Bladox a year ago. They provide hardware solutions that connect to the existing SIM. SIM Toolkit is used to create software applications. Their latest product, called Bladox Waver, also uses a similar system but includes NFC and an antenna that can be folded into the phone case…
I have been told that the product should become available early November, after Cartes 2008. It will cost 59 Euro for one off quantities with lower prices for larger volumes.
Between me posting about Bladox last year and now, they have been through some ups and downs. People worked out that Bladox Turbo SIMs could be used to unlock iPhones. Read the full story on BusinessWeek.
