The top five services that non-users intend to start using are…

"Consumers also highlighted the greatest issues operators need to address: cost (too expensive or unclear), speed, quality and reliability."
Will there be new applications and services for these people to use? From my point of view there are less inventors and one-man companies coming to me. Instead, leads tend to be marketing companies, consultancies and other organisation doing work for handset OEMs and network operators. I get the impression that the economic problems have affected the lone inventor. Meanwhile, I feel the large existing players are trying to evolve and become part of the new application renaissance.
So yes, there will be more applications and services. However, if my leads are anything to go by, these services are more likely to be supplied by the network operator.
