Agia have developed a new RAD tool that generates Nokia Series 60 UIs. While this may be useful in the short term, I wonder what value this adds over Nokia’s Carbide.c++ coming next year which will have comprehensive UI RAD facilities for both Series 60 and UIQ.
Meanwhile for Agia (from the release notes)…
"The set of UI widgets in Agia is not extensive. Agia lacks even some basic widgets like dialogs, images, combo boxes, choice lists, etc. In addition, the supported widgets may lack support for some particular styles or variants."
What with Wirelexsoft also doing a similar thing, RAD UI seems to be very popular development area.
