UK Mobile Advertising

firstpartner.gifFirstPartner have posted the presentation from their recent session on ‘Mobile Advertising and Mobile’s Position in the Internet Purchasing Experience’ that should be interesting for UK mobile developers. It’s full of UK market information regarding UK Internet Shopping in general and more specifically mobile advertising.

FirstPartner claim that Mobile advertising revenue will be worth over €950 million by 2013. The Western European market will grow at a CAGR of 50% from 2009 to 2013 and the leading country will be UK. The following chart shows the current market share by format…

Key drivers will be mobile TV, the increased use of Internet on smartphones, the movement of traffic off-portal, location based services and a gradually recovering economy.
