I am a freelance Android application developer working through my own UK Limited Company.
I have been working in mobile since 1996 when the Windows CE 1.0 beta (Pegasus) appeared. Since then I have worked on Windows Mobile, Symbian OS, S60, UIQ, Java ME, BlackBerry, Android, iPhone and Nokia Qt. Today I work exclusively on Android.
I have performed contracted work for Oracle, Vodafone, Phillips Research, Symbian Ltd, Sony Ericsson, Ordnance Survey and many smaller companies you have probably never heard of.
